The job looks like it is his.
After replacing Tom Savage at halftime in Week 1, Deshaun Watson seems poised to make his first career start.
While Houston Texans head coach Bill O’Brien did not name Watson the starter today, the former Clemson star will start this Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to NFL reporter Jason LaCanfora.
Watson is battling an ankle injury, but apparently will be good to go.
