College football fans – Clemson supporters in particular – are upset after Reuben Foster wasn’t called for targeting on a late hit.
We’re only a few minutes into Monday night’s national title game and we’ve already got controversy. On Clemson’s first possession, quarterback Deshaun Watson was clocked after throwing the ball by Alabama’s Reuben Foster. Foster was called for a penalty, but he was not hit with a targeting call.
Many believe he should have – and that he should have been ejected. Here’s the play:
Watson shook it off and continued to lead his team during the drive.
