As the southeast prepares for Hurricane Irma, college sporting events have been canceled across the board.
On Thursday afternoon, UConn and South Florida announced their game will not be played this Saturday and no makeup date could be agreed upon.

Hurricane Irma has already led to the cancellation of several other college football games. It’s the right call, as the southeast region readies for one of the largest hurricanes in recorded history.
