The Buckeyes will have some true freshmen competing for starting spots.
Urban Meyer consistently says he prefers to not redshirt players and at his National Signing Day press conference this afternoon, he said more of the same.
Ohio State’s head coach was reportedly “emphatic” about two true freshmen’s chances of competing for starting spots.
Those two players: five-star offensive tackle Josh Myers and five-star offensive guard Wyatt Davis.
Meyer says pretty emphatically Josh Myers & Wyatt Davis will compete for playing time. “Josh Myers is absolutely killing it right now."

The Buckeyes’ offensive line isn’t losing much, but Ohio State lacked serious depth with that unit in 2016.
Ohio State’s 2016 class is the No. 2 class in the country.
