The Sooners quarterback’s career ends in heartbreak.
Baker Mayfield’s college football career is over.
Oklahoma just fell to Georgia, 54-48, in double-overtime of the College Football Playoff at the Rose Bowl. The Sooners had their field-goal blocked and the Bulldogs won it on a 27-yard rush by Sony Michel.
Mayfield, unsurprisingly, reacted to the loss in heartbreak.
The 2017 Heisman Trophy winner was seen on the sideline, staring down at the ground.

Mayfield will never suit up for the Oklahoma Sooners again.
Georgia, meanwhile, advances to the College Football Playoff national title game. The Bulldogs will take on the winner of the Alabama-Clemson Sugar Bowl game, which is currently being televised on ESPN.
