Bowen committed to and enrolled at Louisville in June 2017, after allegedly receiving money from adidas. The bribery scandal is what led to the ousting of Rick Pitino.
Louisville announced in late November that Bowen would not play for the Cardinals. The former 5-star recruit joins a South Carolina team that sits at 10-6 on the season, but just 1-3 in the SEC.
The Gamecocks made the Final Four during the 2016-17 season.
