As college basketball seasons end for the sport’s disappointing teams, a number of programs have made changes at the top.
The latest big name coach to get the axe was Illinois’ John Groce. The bad news for him came down earlier today, after an 18-13 season and 8-10 Big Ten record.
Groce is the 13th coach to lose his job so far this season. A few, like USF’s Orlando Antigua, were dismissed at mid-season, but most of the firings have come in the last few weeks, as we get into the heart of March Madness.
