Dickie V weighed in on the corruption controversy.
This morning, Louisville men’s basketball coach Rick Pitino was placed on administrative leave, without pay.
The news comes on the heels of the Department of Justice arresting 10 people, including four basketball coaches, in a corruption case.
Dick Vitale was a guest on ESPN Radio’s Louisville affiliate, ESPN680, and revealed that he called Rick Pitino and left a voicemail for the now former Louisville head coach.
He asked Pitino to resign.
Dicky V on @ESPN680 just said he called Pitino last night and left him a VM to "please resign tomorrow".
