Eric Ayala, a four-star combo guard from Florida powerhouse IMG Academy, will be making his college decision very soon.
247Sports has Ayala ranked No. 76 overall in the class of 2018. The site also has him ranked No. 6 among combo guards, and No. 11 in Florida.
He is down to three finalists—Maryland, Miami, and Oregon—and will be making his decision on Saturday.
Ayala made the announcement on Wednesday night.

Ohio State and Syracuse were both finalists for Ayala, but neither appears to be involved in Saturday’s decision. Syracuse has been considered the favorite by 247’s crystal ball, but the Orange recently landed a commitment from another four-star guard, Jalen Carey, which probably took it out of the race for Ayala.
Now, the crystal ball has 91-percent of the predictions on Maryland, with the rest still on Syracuse.
Ayala also holds offers from Arizona, Indiana, LSU, Oklahoma State, Penn State, and others.
