The elite grad transfer is headed to the SEC.
Egor Koulechov, one of the – if not the – top graduate transfers in college basketball, has made his decision.
Scout.com’s Evan Daniels says he’s headed to the SEC.
Koulechov has committed to Florida.
“It just feels right,” he told Scout.com.

The talented guard chose the Gators over Oklahoma and had interest from several elite programs.
“I finally made up my mind, I chose Florida,” Koulechov said. “It was one of those really hard decisions that could determine a good chunk of my career. It just feels right.”
“I’m fully committed to it and fully invested in it,” he added. “It’s a load off my chest. It was a really hard decision because of my relationship with Carlin Hartman because he coached me.”
Koulechov was perhaps the No. 1 graduate transfer on the market, averaging more than 18 points and 8 rebounds a game for Rice last season. He shot 47 percent from the 3-point line.
Florida just added a potential All-SEC player to its team.
