The Kansas Jayhawks (28-4) are the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region, and will take on the No. 16 seed UC Davis Aggies (22-12). The game will be played at BOK Center in Tulsa at 6:50 p.m. on Friday.
Preview: Kansas won the Big 12 outright, but lost to TCU in its opener in the Big 12 Tournament. The Jayhawks are led by guard Frank Mason who averages 20.8 points per game.
UC Davis reached the tournament by defeating UC Irvine in the Big West Conference Tournament, and the Aggies made it to the Round of 64 by defeating NC Central in a play-in game on Wednesday night. They’re led by Brynton Lemar, who averages 16.1 points per game.

Kansas has appeared in the tournament 45 times, and the Jayhawks have advanced to 14 Final Fours. They have a tournament record of 99-45, and have won three national championships.
This will be UC Davis’ first NCAA tournament appearance.
Prediction: The betting line has yet to be released, but I guarantee Kansas is a 20-point favorite—or more. The Jayhawks will take this one with ease. Outclassed at nearly every position, the Aggies simply don’t have a chance. They should, however, be proud of the fact they made the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history.
