We have another upset on our hands.
This year’s NCAA Tournament has been relatively tame when compared with past tournaments. The top seeds have advanced in the majority of contests, as even the 5-seed vs. 12-seed matchups haven’t produced as many upsets as in recent memory.
The 11-seeds, however, are working their magic against the 6-seeds. No. 11 Rhode Island took an early lead over No. 6 Creighton and never looked back, cruising to an 84-72 win.

The Rams picked up their first NCAA Tournament win since 1998, and Creighton gets sent home early once again. Following Rhode Island’s upset of the Blue Jays, fewer than 2,000 perfect brackets remain in ESPN’s Tournament Challenge.
