JaQuan Lyle was taken into custody early Saturday morning.
Ohio State point guard JaQuan Lyle was arrested on three charges early Saturday morning. After Ohio State’s spring semester ended last week, many student-athletes went home. Unfortunately for Lyle, his return home to Evansville, Indiana ended poorly.
According to a report for 247Sports, Lyle was taken into custody at around 2:00 a.m.
From the report:
Per Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office records, Lyle was taken into custody at 2:09 AM this morning, and charged with public intoxication, criminal mischief to a vehicle, and disorderly conduct. He was released from custody on $150 bond.
Lyle just completed his sophomore year at Ohio State. Last season he averaged 11.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 29.3 minutes per game for the Buckeyes last year.
UPDATE: JaQuan Lyle is no longer a part of the Ohio State basketball program.
