Class of 2018 phenom Zion Williamson has some big recruiting trips and in-home visits scheduled.
Williamson, who regularly went viral for his crazy in-game dunks last season, is the No. 2 player in the country per 247Sports‘ composite rankings.
As you can imagine, the top schools in the country are all knocking down his door. Over the next few months, he’ll be taking trips to four of them.
According to Scout, Kentucky is first up on September 23.
Williamson will kick off the official visit process with a trip to Kentucky the weekend of September 23rd, just a week after the Wildcats are set to host Immanuel Quickley and Keldon Johnson. John Calipari will meet with Williamson and his family Wednesday evening.
He will follow up the Lexington trip with visits to Kansas (Sept. 30), Duke for the Countdown to Craziness (Oct. 20), and UCLA (Oct. 28).
Williamson had an in-home visit with Bill Self on Tuesday, and will host South Carolina’s Frank Martin on Thursday and North Carolina’s Roy Williams on Sunday.
Those two schools are jockeying for the final official visit spot. Clemson, which hosted Williamson on an unofficial visit this weekend, could also contend for the crucial fifth official visit spot.
Williamson also holds offers from Arizona, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, and others.
