North Carolina’s head coach is worried about his star player.
Roy Williams said today that he’s “scared to death” about the status of North Carolina junior guard Joel Berry, who’s dealing with serious ankle problems.
Berry has injured his ankles multiple times during the NCAA Tournament and had to miss some of Sunday’s Elite Eight win over Kentucky.
The star guard is going to take it easy this week heading into Saturday night’s game against Oregon.
Berry is almost surely going to play, but all it takes is one tweak for him to potentially be sidelined.
UNC's Joel Berry re-injured his ankle vs. Kentucky. "I'm scared to death right now because I don't know," Roy Williams said.
