Scottie Lewis, the No. 6 player in the class of 2019, has 12 schools that stick out, including some off-the-wall selections.
Lewis, a New Jersey native, is ranked No. 1 in the state, and No. 1 among small forwards in the class.
His Top 12 features Colgate, Duke, Florida, Harvard, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Seton Hall, Stanford, St. John’s, and Villanova.
It’s an eclectic mix, which he announced on Twitter.

His full note:
“I would like to thank all of the schools that followed me, showed love and offered me from the beginning of my journey. I am forever blessed and more importantly I am forever grateful for those who help me get to the point that I am at now in my career. I have made this list strictly off of what schools I feel like will prepare me to the next level from both a academic and athletic standpoint.”
Lewis also holds offers from Arizona, LSU, Miami, Notre Dame, and others.
The early predictions in 247Sports‘ crystal ball have a dead split between Florida and Kentucky, but as a 2019 recruit, there is plenty of time for Lewis’s recruitment to develop.
