On Wednesday morning, news broke former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez committed suicide while in his prison cell. An unfortunate typo in a Canadian newspaper swapped him out for another notable Hernandez in the sports world.
The Brandon Sun, a newspaper in Manitoba, printed the Associated Press story in its paper this afternoon. Unfortunately, when putting a headline on the brief story, it accidentally printed Keith Hernandez, the former St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets first baseman and current Mets color commentator.

The body of the AP story was correct, but the unfortunate gaffe is pretty glaring in the headline. Luckily for any Mets fans in Manitoba, Hernandez and the rest of the great SNY crew will be back on TV tonight for the team’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
