Cutler is back.
After retiring following the 2016 NFL season, it looked like Jay Cutler was headed for the broadcast booth.
Cutler signed a deal with FOX to be a part of the network’s broadcast team.
On Sunday, however, that all changed when it was announced that Jay Cutler signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins. Cutler’s broadcast career was put on hold, and he remained retired for just a few months.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Cutler’s new deal is worth $10 million, with possible incentives.

It’s not a bad deal for the formerly retired QB. He’ll be back in business with former Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase, who is the head coach of the Miami Dolphins.
