The fight for Jay Cutler isn’t over yet.
Jay Cutler’s interest in making a return to the football field looked like it might be waning as of yesterday.
While the retired quarterback is reportedly the Dolphins’ “top choice” to replace an injured Ryan Tannehill, Cutler was leaning towards staying retired and enjoying life in the broadcast booth.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, however, Gase might be convincing the former NFL QB to come back to the field.
Rapoport reported that Cutler is “leaning toward” a comeback.

Cutler, 34, retired after the 2016 season and has been hired by FOX to be a game analyst.
Dolphins head coach Adam Gase and Cutler have history together, going back to when Gase was the offensive coordinator of the Chicago Bears.
