Another detail of Aaron Hernandez’s death has been revealed, and it is particularly chilling.
When Hernandez’s body was found in his jail cell this morning, dead of an apparent suicide, he had the Holy Bible verse “John 3:16” written on his forehead, according to a new report from Fox25.
Fox25 Boston’s Bob Ward originally said Hernandez had written “John 3:16” in his own blood, but later clarified that it was written in marker.
Must clarify: John 3:16 message found on Hernandez forehead written in red blood marker, not blood story developing #fox25

For those unfamiliar, John 3:16 is one of the most quoted and recognizable verses in the Bible. A few decades ago, sports fan Rollen Stewart gained notoriety as “John 3:16 Guy” for promoting the verse at major sporting events nationwide.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life,” reads the New International Version.
We will update you with any further details on Hernandez’s death as they emerge.
