Tom Brady definitely saw his teammate’s social media post.
Earlier this afternoon, New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler posted a lengthy statement on social media. It covered his time with the New England Patriots and addressed his benching in Super Bowl XLII.
Butler denied any of the speculated reasons for his demotion.
“During Super Bowl week I never attended any concert, missed curfew, or participated in any of the ridiculous activities being reported,” he wrote.
Butler posted the message on Instagram and Twitter. It looks like Tom Brady saw it on IG.
Not only did Brady “like” Butler’s post, he also commented on it. Brady was supportive of his teammate.
“Love you Malcolm. You are an incredible player and teammate and friend. Always!!!!!!” wrote Brady.
Here is visual proof of Brady’s interaction with the post.

Now, it stands to reason whether or not Brady himself or an assistant/publicist of some sort actually liked the photo and wrote the message. Stars don’t always control their social media accounts at all times.
However, it is guaranteed that Brady at least had to approve of what was written, even if he didn’t post the comment himself.
It also makes your wonder if the rumors surrounding Butler’s suspension are indeed false. Hard to think Brady would go to bat for him so publicly if he really was screwing up behind the scenes.
