Watt is on the road to recovery.
Earlier today, the Houston Texans placed J.J. Watt on the injured reserve list, ending his 2017 season.
Watt suffered a brutal knee injury over the weekend. The star defensive end suffered a tibial plateau fracture, the team announced.
On Wednesday afternoon, Watt posted a picture of himself at the hospital to his Twitter account.

For the second consecutive season an injury will cause Watt to miss extensive time. The Texans also lost fellow defensive end/outside linebacker Whitney Mercilus who suffered a torn pectoral in the same game.
