The former star quarterback is getting criticized for the advice he gave Kaepernick.
Michael Vick went on Fox Sports 1 and gave some advice to Colin Kaepernick.
That advice, according to many, is not acceptable.
The former star quarterback says that, among other things, Kaepernick needs to cut his hair to make himself more likely to get signed by an NFL team.
“First thing we’ve got to get Colin to do is cut his hair,” Vick said on Speak for Yourself. “Listen, I’m not up here to try to be politically correct. Even if he puts cornrows in there. I don’t think he should represent himself in that way (wearing the Afro). Just the hairstyle. Just go clean-cut. You know, why not? You’re already dealing with a lot.”
Vick added that the former 49ers’ QB’s goal should be to look more “presentable.”

Vick’s comments about Kaepernick, who’s yet to be signed after a 2016 NFL season in which he kneeled during the national anthem, are not sitting well with many.
Michael Vick telling Kaep how to be greater accepted by the white community when he still gets harassed by white folks who own pets is rich.

Michael Vick thinks that respectability politics, and depoliticizing his aesthetics will get the NFL to love Colin Kaepernick…👌🏾 pic.twitter.com/zeV3yUctsp

Wrong. The image of a man with an Afro is not the issue at all. https://t.co/Hi5Cta0T3I
