Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant did not suffer an injury to his right hand, which was bandaged during practice today.
Instead, Bryant’s digits were taped up for an atypical reason: he cut his finger while cutting carrots to make homemade soup.
Dez Bryant had tape on his right fingers in practice because he cut his hand cutting carrots while making soup. Said it's extremely minor.

Dez Bryant had right fingers bandaged-middle and index. Cut them cutting carrots for soup. Tells us it's not serious. Didn't limit him today

Some people on Twitter are speculating that’s not really how Bryant cut himself, but that’s his official story, and who are we to say differently as of now?
Dez, of course, hasn’t played in Dallas’ last three games while recovering from a hairline fracture in his kneecap. The Cowboys have a bye this week, and Bryant is hoping to return to the field when the team faces the Philadelphia Eagles on Oct. 30.
