The Redskins will be without a top linebacker for the 2017 season.
A former college star will be out for the upcoming NFL season.
Trent Murphy’s 2017 season was set to start with a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy.
Now, he’ll be out for the full season.
According to Adam Schefter, Murphy suffered a torn ACL and MCL which will require season-ending surgery.
