Chicago Bears linebacker Jerrell Freeman has been suspended for 10 games.
The Chicago Bears announced Monday afternoon that linebacker Jerrell Freeman has been suspended 10 games after his second offense for performance enhancing substances.
Freeman, who is on the injured reserve list, will not be able to play the rest of the season as a result.
Chicago announced the news via its Twitter account.

The Bears can cut Freeman for $500,000 and save $3.5 million if they so choose after the season. Worth noting with Jones/Kwit playing well.

Freeman’s first offense came back in September of 2016. He was suspended four games for his first offense.
