This will be on blooper reels for decades.
The Chicago Bears were winning 14-7 as the Pittsburgh Steelers lined up for a field goal on the final play of the first half.
The Bears blocked the kick, and defensive back Marcus Cooper picked up the loose ball with nothing but green ahead of him.
Cooper took off, and was inches from completing his journey to six points, when he inexplicably slowed down.
Then, disaster struck.

This is Leon Lett-level bad. Lett’s blunder came in the Super Bowl but the Cowboys were winning big at least.
Cooper’s was on a much smaller stage, but if the Bears lose this one by a few points, he will be wearing the Zgoat horns.
