This did not look good at all.
Earlier: On Friday, New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman and Kansas City Chiefs running back Spencer Ware suffered season-ending knee injuries in preseason action.
Now, Chicago Bears wide receiver Cam Meredith has also suffered what looks like a devastating leg injury.
In this afternoon’s game against the Tennessee Titans, Meredith took a shot to his left leg. His leg bent at a terrible angle.
The video is below, but we must warn you not to watch if you’re squeamish.

Meredith signed with the Bears in 2015 as an undrafted free agent and had a breakout season last year. He hauled in 66 receptions for 888 yards and four touchdowns.
With Alshon Jeffery gone, Meredith was expected to be Chicago’s main target this fall. Now, his season looks like it is jeopardy.
Update: It looks like the worst-case scenario is reality. Meredith has reportedly suffered a torn ACL.
#Bears WR Cameron Meredith is believed to have torn his ACL, per Pam Oliver on the Fox broadcast. Likely had additional damage, too. Too bad

Brutal break for him and the Bears.
