Green Bay’s head coach seemed agitated by the question.
The Packers announced today that Aaron Rodgers needs surgery on his broken collarbone, meaning he’s almost surely out for the season.
Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy then met with reporters, discussing the quarterback position. Since Sunday, McCarthy has said that the team would be moving forward with Brett Hundley as the starter and Joe Callahan as the backup.
Today, a reporter asked McCarthy if he’d consider signing Colin Kaepernick.
