A former Big Ten star was injured on Thursday night.
Trae Waynes, a former Michigan State star, was injured in the Minnesota Vikings’ first preseason game on Thursday night.
Waynes reportedly injured his shoulder during a play, and remained down on the field for an extended period of time before heading to the locker room to get evaluated.
The former first round pick was downgraded from questionable to out.

The Vikings selected Waynes with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
