A former second round pick has been cut.
Former Florida State star Roberto Aguayo’s first NFL season didn’t go very well.
After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made the shocking move of drafting the star kicker in the second round, Aguayo failed to live up to expectations.
His 2017 season got off to a shaky start as well. Aguayo missed his first extra point attempt, and it appears that was the last straw for Tampa Bay.
The 23-year-old kicker has been cut.

Aguayo went on to have a rough rookie season, missing nine field goal attempts and two extra points. The Bucs finally decided enough was enough, and cut the former college star.
