Ladarius Green is no longer a Pittsburgh Steeler.
The Steelers released two players today — tight end Ladarius Green and running back Terrell Watson. It’s a surprising choice to release Green, who just signed a 4-year, $20 million contract with the Steelers ahead of last season.
However, after suffering a series of concussions, and a failed physical, Green is no longer part of the team. Despite seeing action in just six games for the Steelers, Green will walk away with $6 million of his $20 million contract.
We have released TE Ladarius Green, and signed RB Terrell Watson.

Green started two games last season and had 18 receptions for 304 yards and a touchdown. Green showed flashes of excellence in the 2016 season, especially in Week 13 against the Giants when he had six receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown.
