Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski interrupted Press Secretary Sean Spicer’s briefing today during the Patriots’ visit to the White House.
The Patriots are visiting the White House today to be honored for their Super Bowl win over the Falcons, as is tradition for any U.S. sports team that wins a championship, and of course, that means tight end and lovable doofus Rob Gronkowski is along for the trip.
At one point during a White House press briefing by Press Secretary Sean Spicer, Gronk, who is apparently on the loose and roaming all of Washington D.C., popped out of nowhere to offer his assistance handling the press.

Spicer, a Patriots fan, declined his assistance with a laugh, and with his offer rejected a sad Gronk disappeared into the building to presumably cause mischief somewhere else.
It’s good to see Gronk is treating the entire experience with the wonder and excitement of a middle-schooler on a field trip. It’s not surprising that he’s causing mayhem in the White House, because he seems to cause that wherever he goes, but what is surprising is that this time he’s doing it all with a shirt on. I’m shocked he wasn’t chugging a beer.
