BYU guard Matt Carlino was one of the biggest names on the transfer market, and it appears that he will be the first big pick-up for new Marquette coach Steve Wojciechowski. Scout.com’s Evan Daniels broke the news earlier today.

Carlino has been a double-digit scorer in each of his first three collegiate seasons, and averaged 13.7 points as a junior. Carlino provides some much-needed scoring for a Marquette offense that was stagnant for most of 2013-14. Todd Mayo is the only double-digit scorer that Marquette will bring back next season. Carlino should receive ample touches as a senior for the Golden Eagles.
