The seven seed Oregon Ducks find themselves in a tough battle with the 10-seed BYU Cougars. It’s been an entertaining game, especially since BYU went on a run to cut into the Ducks’ lead, but the play of the game thus far was made at the 16:30 mark of the second half.
Sophomore Elgin Cook did what forwards are supposed to do and followed the ball to the rim—and he was rewarded. He caught the ball off of the backboard and viciously threw it down over a hapless Cougar defender to give the Ducks a 12 point lead. The game is currently more competitive and the winner will go on to face two seed Wisconsin in the round of 32.
