Last week, we learned that both Mississippi State and Ole Miss, two of just six undefeated teams left in college football, should be considered national title contenders this season. We also learned that Baylor is resilient, Oklahoma and Alabama have offensive woes, and that Georgia is just fine (for now) without Todd Gurley. What will week eight bring?
Well, we know one thing – by the time Florida State vs. Notre Dame ends Saturday night, there will be, at most, five undefeated teams left in the country. The Seminoles and Irish are, in all likelihood, playing a College Football Playoff elimination game. There are a number of other great matchups to catch as well – Texas A&M vs. Alabama, Kansas State vs. Oklahoma, Oklahoma State vs. TCU and Stanford vs. Arizona State.
