Former Notre Dame quarterback Everett Golson, who led the team to a 12-0 regular season record and an appearance in the BCS National Championship Game last season, has been readmitted to the school, according to an official statement by the university. Golson was kicked out of Notre Dame earlier this year for what was deemed “poor academic judgement”. He later admitted to SI that the situation had to do with cheating on a test.
Everett Golson was readmitted this afternoon to the University of Notre Dame.

Golson is expected to compete for the starting job in 2014 against current freshman Malik Zaire and senior Andrew Hendrix, should he return for a fifth season.
