You can throw this one in the “oops” category. Today at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, the hometown Reds took on the Seattle Mariners. And of course, Tyler Eifert, the tight end out of Notre Dame who was drafted by the Bengals in the first round, was in attendance.

…but wait! Any Notre Dame fan knows that that is not actually Tyler Eifert — no, the fan wearing the ND cap is actually current Irish wide receiver Luke Massa, who grew up in Cincinnati.
An innocent mix-up, but a pretty funny one. The Cincinnati broadcast should probably know what Eifert actually looks like, but what are the chances that the “imposter” is another Notre Dame player? Pretty crazy.
