After adding a yearly four-game ACC football slate as a part of its new conference agreement, Notre Dame has had a difficult time juggling its many historical rivalries.
Irish coach Brian Kelly spoke with Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman about the challenges presented to Notre Dame in completing a football schedule because of the ACC arrangement, with existing games against Stanford, USC, and Navy remaining, and a desire to play SEC opponents. Because of it, Notre Dame’s rivalries with Michigan and Michigan State may be in jeopardy. Kelly does not seemed thrilled about dropping those games against midwestern opponents.
