Notre Dame students really have a thing for posting pictures of the golden dome of the administration building all over social media. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is, or what time of year, but you can always get a great shot of the iconic building that people will love. Perhaps the saddest dome photo that many students take is one of it in their rearview mirrors as they leave campus after graduation, driving down Notre Dame Ave on their way out of the main gates.
Today, Louis Nix posted such a photo on Instagram, and it seemed like a sure sign that he would indeed be leaving school for the NFL following the season:
Tonight, Liz Mullen of Sports Business Journal is reporting that Nix has signed with player agents Todd France and Brian Ayrault, which would mean that Nix has forgone the rest of his NCAA eligibility:
5 Star Athlete Management NFL player agents Todd France & Brian Ayrault signed Notre Dame nose tackle Louis Nix III to rep in ’14 NFL Draft

Notre Dame supporters will be sad to see Nix go — he is by far the fan favorite on the team and a tremendous anchor to Bob Diaco’s 3-4 defense. He is expected to be picked in the first round of April’s draft.
