As we’re all aware, this will unfortunately be the last year of the always-entertaining Michigan vs. Notre Dame rivalry – well, at least for the foreseeable future. Earlier this week at Big Ten Media Days, Wolverines senior defensive end Frank Clark had a thing or two to say about making the trip to South Bend for the final time this season. It seems he made an interesting observation back in 2012 when his team traveled to play the Irish on the road.
Michigan DE Frank Clark on visiting Notre Dame: “I’ve never seen so many middle fingers. I thought that was a Christian school.”

Notre Dame fans are a passionate bunch, that’s for sure. Whether or not what Clark claims is true is another story. But if so, that’s the reception Wolverines got during a loss. Can you imagine what it’d be like if they went into South Bend and won?
