Each year, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish have one neutral site football game that is dubbed part of the “Shamrock Series” — the game is set at a prime location and Notre Dame unveils special one-time uniforms that are designed to excite the players and recruits.
Last year, the Irish played the Miami Hurricanes at Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears, and wore these uniforms that caused a stir among the fans.
This year, Notre Dame heads down to Jerry World to face off against Arizona State at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. Today, Notre Dame and Adidas released this video that details the uniforms for the 2013 Shamrock Series:

The game will take place on October 5th at 7:30 ET — NBC will have the broadcast. The network will also be deploying “freeD” technology for the first time, which will mean extra high-definition, 360-degree replays for Irish fans.
