Dwyane Wade could be playing in his hometown next season.
The (potentially former) Miami Heat star is reportedly very “serious” about signing with the Chicago Bulls.
Yahoo! Sports’ The Vertical is reporting that the Bulls have been attempting to unload some of their bigger contracts in recent hours to make more space for the 34-year-old all-star guard.
Wade, a Chicago native, is reportedly seeking a contract worth at least $50 million over two years.

Wade reportedly met with the Bucks, Nuggets and Heat today.
Denver has reportedly offered Wade a two-year contract worth $52 million.
A meeting between Wade and Chicago was scheduled for this afternoon, but flight issues caused the meeting to be cancelled. It’s possible the three-time NBA champion could meet with the Bulls tomorrow or later this week.
