He was drilled by a Yankees pitcher.
The New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers faced off on Monday night.
Late in the game, Yankees pitcher Tommy Kahnle let one get away, and it struck Tigers right fielder Mikie Mahtook in the head.
The pitch that got away was traveling 98-mph.

Luckily, Mahtook bounced back up and appeared to be fine as he headed to first base. Mahtook later scored during the inning, and it looked like he and Kahnle exchanged pleasantries on Mahtook’s way to the bench.
