Former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow got beaned by a pitch today in his first spring training game with the New York Mets.
Things aren’t going great for Tim Tebow in his first spring training game with the New York Mets. He struck out in his first at-bat, grounded out into a double play in his second, and on his third at-bat he got hit by a pitch in the shoulder. At least he got on base?
Check it out, it looks like it doesn’t even bother him:

Here’s the angle from behind the mound. You can hear the crowd get riled up after seeing their favorite player get hit:

He wasn’t on base for long, as he got forced out following a line drive to second base.
In a weird twist, Tebow getting hit by a pitch was actually some Gator on Gator violence, as the pitcher, Brian Johnson, was a former Florida baseball player from 2010-2012.
At any rate, it has me wondering what hurts more: getting hit by a pitch or tackled by a 300-pound defensive lineman? I don’t think I’d be able to handle either circumstance nearly as well as Tebow.
