Gary Sanchez got hit in the family jewels.
On Tuesday night after 162 regular season games, the Major League Baseball playoffs began.
In an American League Wild Card game between the New York Yankees and Minnesota Twins, the game to a backseat to Gary Sanchez’s agony.
After starting picher Luis Severino only lasted athird of an inning, David Robertson came in to relieve. Robertson ended up pitching 3.1 innings, allowing three hits while striking out six.
One of Robertson’s pitches got fouled off, right into the groin of catcher Gary Sanchez.

Anyone that has been hit in the groin knows Sanchez’s pain, and likely reacted the same way Robertson did. In the end, Sanchez was able to shake it off and the Yankees went on to win 8-4.
New York now travels to Cleveland for a matchup against the Indians on Friday.
