Conforto suffered a nasty injury on Thursday.
The New York Mets can’t catch a break.
On Thursday, outfielder Michael Conforto swung at a pitch and crumpled to the ground in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Soon after leaving the game, the Mets announced Conforto suffered a dislocated left shoulder.

Conforto has been a bright spot for the Mets during a difficult season. The 24-year-old is batting .280 with 27 home runs and 68 RBIs.
