Tim Tebow had a less than ideal start to the season for the Mets.
For those who don’t know, Tim Tebow left the football field for the broadcast booth, and then transitioned to baseball. The former Heisman Trophy winning quarterback landed a deal with the New York Mets, and played for their affiliate last fall.
The Mets called up Tebow for Spring Training this year and the former Florida star just had his first at bat in the Majors.
It didn’t go as planned.

Now, at first glance, it doesn’t look great for Tebow — but let’s add a little context.
First, the pitch was on the border between a strike and a ball. Second, he’s facing Rick Porcello, who won the AL Cy Young last year.
All in all, we’ll need to see more before we jump to conclusions about Tim Tebow’s future in baseball.
