Update: The Rockets have just unveiled the full uniform via their equipment Twitter account. They’ve gone with a black/pink theme throughout – pretty cool.

Earlier: It may no longer technically be Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October), but there certainly is nothing wrong with college football teams showing support for those affected by the disease during other months of the year.
Toledo is teaming up with Under Armour for the “Power in Pink” campaign, which raises money for breast cancer research, ahead of Wednesday’s game against Northern Illinois. The school is set to unveil the full uniform some time tomorrow, but we were just given a sneak peek at the helmets and gloves the Rockets will be wearing, via Twitter.

As you can see, the pink ribbon is both the main decal on the helmet and incorporated into the face mask. The phrase “Power in Pink” is also run along the back of the lid. Toledo fans – how’d Under Armour do?
