A high school cheerleader fighting cancer was honored by her school’s football game this past Friday night.
Ashley Adamietz, who cheers for Foothill High School, was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in August. According to ABC News, which interviewed her coach Becki Smith, Adamietz has been undergoing daily chemotherapy since her diagnosis.
This past Friday night, the football team she cheers for honored her in an amazing way. In the video below, you can see all 57 members of the team place an orange rose at her feet. Orange designates leukemia awareness.

According to ABC, the movement was organized by a senior named Ryan Caetano.
The Facebook video of the gesture has over 11 million views and has been shared over 200,000 times.
